In-Ear Sound Design SD1 "endurance" test

The In-Ear Sound Design SD1 development team having some fun on the Friday before a long weekend this summer. We decided to prove just how tough a SD1 polycarbonate case was by running it over with a car. In this way, no one can say that the SD1 "plastic" case is weak compared to metal. In fact, after seeing SD1 get run over repeatedly, even at high speed, you will wonder why you bother wearing a metal beltpack that weighs so much. By the way, that SD1 survives intact except for a few minor scratches and the knob on one of the encoders coming off when I hit the SD1 at an angle.
