"Okay, Demz. See you then, love you." "Love you too." I hung up the phone and checked myself in the mirror. Looking good, Joe. Looking good. I took the box out of my pocket and opened it. Inside sat a ring. The ring I'd hope by the end of tonight would be on Demi's left hand. I took a deep breath. Tonight was the most important night of my life. I looked myself in the mirror again. I didn't want to look bad for tonight. I wasn't obsessed with my look, no matter how much my brothers teased me about it. I just liked to look good, was that a crime? No. I walked up and down the house for 5 minutes...this was strange. Usually Demi would be here by now. She only lived 5 minutes away by car. I sighed, girls.
